For the past few months, I've been realizing a strange thing. That several of my current projects actually stem from the same source. Not just Christmas a Hamburger. But also continuing work on Harjin. And actually, the collection Černý as well. And that source isn't just inspiration. It's space. Black is a gently self-ironic yet fragile book of three poems about an encounter that has not yet become a relationship. The lyrical speaker addresses "Mr. D.B., Mr. Black" as well as "Petr," offering trust while also admitting confusion and boundaries.
