I am just yours, you are just mine Acrylic on canvas 80x50cm "A couple is sitting by the window. It hasn't been long since they found each other and professed their love. They look out the window at falling comets and know that fate brought them together. It took several years, but now that they are middle-aged, they appreciate the scent of a relationship much more than they would have earlier. Both [...]

Stellar dragons (Hvězdní draci) Acrylic on canvas 80x50cm "A cosmic base near a wormhole and orbiting planets offers the opportunity to observe stellar dragons 'at the gate to stellar Avalon'. The path to the angels is thus open. But it is actually prehistory, when these dragons lived. And as the shen-shu prophecy says: 374 Dragon Gate * 跳龍門 須波浪 雷電轟轟 踴躍萬丈 When jumping into the dragon gate They will strike [...]

Zenehegiel Acrylic on canvas 80x50cm "The wind lifts leaves into the air, the sun sets, illuminating the clouds reflected in a puddle at the roadside. A man stands there with his little dog. A young couple parks nearby and goes for a walk with their dog further on. It is cold, growing dark, and the lamps light the way to the distant mountains, where the lights of a small town are flickering. The atmosphere of the whole scene is given by the orange [...]

Moulin Rouge Acrylic on canvas 80x50cm "The first painting I started to work on when I played the soundtrack of the same name, and I sang along to every single part the entire time I was painting. Well, Moulin Rouge, I cannot deny, was at one time my very favorite movie, and its director Baz Luhrmann was my favorite. Those days are gone, but since I started humming […]

The Disappearance of Hercule Poirot Acrylic on canvas + silver acrylic spray 70x50cm After a long time, I painted a picture purely without any preconceived idea. Only the process revealed the result. In the beginning, I had the theme of Hercule Poirot's Christmas. Unexpectedly, however, he invited me on his adventure. I saw him disappearing down the pavement of a small English town near a lake and the highlands. Afterwards, I saw him in the fog, rain and smog, […]

Turnov Ghats in the Fog Acrylic on canvas 80x50cm I painted this picture for my new friend. We share a connection to the Jizera River that we reminisce about. In my childhood, I considered the name Jizera to be a synonym for the word river. Two figures are sitting on the Turnov Ghats, fog is lazily rolling over the Jizera, the sun is setting, and autumn leads to remembrance. I was also inspired to paint this picture by my favorite [...]

Spirited Away (Matys regai hente) Acrylic on canvas 50x70cm I painted this picture for my friend Matys. I submerged his hometown of Prostějov in sea water representing memories and emotion, in which we can see tracks disappearing beneath the surface. These refer to Matys's "train" works. The face belongs to Matys himself. I was also inspired to paint this picture by my favourite film Spirited Away […]
